Sarah Reis |
Sarah has been teaching dance and coaching high performance gymnastics for many years and her choreography is well known throughout the artistic community. In 2005 Sarah was elected to Gymnastics BC to choreograph the opening ceremonies for the National Championships, which was televised across North America. Sarah has received many choreography awards at local dance competitions including, Peak Invitational, ADA, Footloose, and Dance Power. Her choreography has been showcased at gymnaestrada events across Canada, and 2006 her students competed at the world dance championships in Germany. Sarah is a life long learner committed to continual growth as an educator. She aims to provide her students with the best training while promoting social development and team cohesion. Sarah is currently studying dance at Simon Fraser University to gain further knowledge in dance technique, while she is working towards her Masters Degree in Sport Psychology. Sarah is committed to conducting academic research in artistic sports with a particular interest in the Psychology of dance performance. |
