Amanda began dancing at age four and has been dancing ever since. Having grown up in Chilliwack, she is so excited to get back into the community. Amanda has experience both in teaching and training in Jazz, Ballet (RAD), Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary/Modern, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre and Song & Dance. She has trained and competed throughout Canada and Los Angeles, with training by choreographers such as Wade Robson (SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE), Keith Clifton (Clifton Dance Project), Richard O'Sullivan, Menina Fortunato, Karen Mason-Albert, Bernadette Matthew, Leigh Hillary-Lee and many more. She has completed a three-year program by world renowned "Teacher's Teacher" Brian Foley (Toronto) and is a certified A.D.A.P.T. Jazz and Tap instructor. Amanda has been teaching for many years and along with award-winning dances and top choreography awards, she brings a spirit and love for dance that is contagious. She is so excited to bring her dance studio to Chilliwack and can't wait to meet the new students and families that have chosen Project Dance. |
